Fundraising for the Facility

We’re looking to raise funds through government grants, sponsorships, and donations from within the community. This money will be combined with a capital loan to cover the total project cost. The more donations we receive from the community, the more funding we are likely to receive from granting organizations and other partners. For them, a donation shows community support and is money in the bank.

TQFThe Quinn Family“I moved to Golden about two years ago. The summer season is short here and it would be nice to swim in the middle of winter. The kids love this sort of thing. My wife Heather, who has lived in the area for 40 years, says last time we tried to build an indoor pool, the tax base wasn't big enough. We both think now is the right time to go ahead with this project. That's why we've pledged to donate $3,000 towards a new aquatic centre in Golden.”

We recently moved to Golden after having fallen in love with the ski hill and then the community as a whole. We jumped at the opportunity to pledge our support for an indoor swimming pool as it will provide year-round exercise, fun, and represents a growing community. We are so excited to take part in all that Golden has to offer, including the ability to swim all year long!
